Difficult to scroll using a screen reader

It's difficult to scroll the page using a screen reader.

1. I don't know by reading the page that scrolling will do something.
2. When I move to the top of the document with the screen reader, I end up above the list of messages; it doesn't scroll the list.
3. There are no controls to let me load the previous or next page of logs, other than by scrolling.
