Hey, someone mentioned this project to me, and I wanted to see if there is interest in leveraging WinGet. The CLI is open-source. Many of the referenced packages are available using the "winget" community repository.

It also takes advantage of PowerShell DSC for configuration management and could make getting everything set-up much simpler. WinGet Configuration was designed to simplify the process of installing and configuring packages and Windows Settings.

Take a look at the .NET Tutorial - Hello World in 5 minutes for an example of how WinGet Configuration is leveraged, and makes getting Windows developer environments set up in one step.
