Can not set Solaredge Site Limit parameter #803

I am trying to disable my SolarEdge inverter to avoid negative charges from my energy supplier. In the app I get an error "You are not the owner" and when I try to set this parameter via Modbus this appears to be disabled:
Plugin is working fine otherwise, but unsure what is wrong here. Diagnostics here: config_entry-solaredge_modbus_multi-01JAD4VXG6Z01Z49423YABK5KH.json Debug log shows nothing weird as well:
Would appreciate any insights to help me to troubleshoot this further. |

You have limit controls set to disabled. See this page: But it doesn't look like you have a meter, so you can probably only use Production Control mode. Without a meter you can't control export. |

I set it to power control mode but I'm unable to figure out how I can now tell my SolarEdge to stop generating power (like setting the switch to 0). Is there no such option? |

Try turning on Auto-Detect Additional Entities and see if it supports active power limit controls. Setting active power limit to 0 should be the same as off. |

Yups it does and it works like a charm, thanks. I can now build an automation. It also detected tons of other settings like "advanced power control", "power reduce" (disabled) and "current limit" (disabled). Out of curiosity are these documented anywhere? There's apparently a lot a SolarEdge can do that I wasn't aware of. Ideally it would be able to "track" power consumption and not generate more than needed. |

That's called "zero export" and is possible, but the inverter needs a meter connected to do that internally using the export site limit settings. There are documents in https://github.com/WillCodeForCats/solaredge-modbus-multi/tree/main/doc |

Is it possible to set up also not to use solar to charge the batteries? |
