Unable to use codespaces with some repositories hosted with GitHub enterprise

Trying to use codespaces with repositories that are hosted with GitHub enterprises, I enter an authentication loop that eventually fails, because the GitHub API blocks me from making further requests. Happy to provide more details on a private channel.
