How to test against btc subnet and canisters

I'm trying to build a test environment to test against the ckBTC asset. What is the best approach to this?

If that isn't possible, I can do with a dummy ICRC2 token in the test suite.

I'd recommend deploying the ckBTC ledger suite and configure some identity you control as the minter so that you can mint ckBTC yourself. If that doesn't work for you, could you please refine your requirements?
