Log sending might be broken for log4j2

During the work on #3792 I discovered that the log-sending tests were actually not executed for log4j2. Executing them causes them to fail.
We'll need to investigate these failures and ensure log-sending works correctly for log4j2.

The tests are currently disabled and have a TODO.
