What is the problem?

Lack of initialization example. For example, I was searching to how to initialize an empty Set. It can save me 1 hour if there is one line like this:
$s = Set {}

I know there are some examples in the Array and Collection page. But why does it take so long to find that one page containing multiple examples for different purpose? People need clear guidance when they see definition, followed by examples!

Thanks for reporting, I think this should be solved along with #995 by linking to the correct guide (the 2 links we currently have on the HH\Set page both go to the same wrong place).

@jjergus - where's the source for this page? Is it /internal somewhere?

The reference pages are generated from docblock comments in HHVM sources. This particular one is here. So we have 2 options to fix it:

• Update the docblock in HHVM sources, then wait for the next weekly HHVM release, then run bin/update-versions in the documentation repository -- so kind of a slow and unwieldy solution.
• We have the option to add content to the reference pages more easily, by creating a new file in api-examples. But it looks like it currently supports only function and method reference pages, not classes. I'm working on fixing that now.

Once that is in, we can add similar links to ImmSet, Vector and other collection class reference pages.

We should also remove the outdated @guide links from the HHVM sources, although that will not be reflected on the docs site until after the next HHVM release.
