Preconditions and environment

  • 2.4.4-p1

Steps to reproduce

Add new URL rewrites:

Expected result

  1. If the system allows adding the above custom URL redirect, then the system should redirect.
  2. Otherwise, the system shouldn't allow to add above custom URL redirect

Actual result

The system allows to add custom URL rewrite for existing categories with parameters but then doesn't redirect in Frontend.

Hi @adarshkhatri ,

Verified the issue in 2.4-develop instance and the issue is not reproducible.

Steps to reproduce:
1.Install 2.4-develop instance
2.Go to Marketing >>SEO>Url Rewrites
3.Add Custom Url Rewrite for existing categories and save it.

Kindly refer the below screenshots:

The system doesn't allows to add custom URL rewrite for existing categories.Kindly recheck the behaviour in 2.4-develop instance and Let me know if we are missing anything!

Verified the issue in 2.4-develop instance and issue is reproducible,Hence we are confirming the issue.
Kindly refer the below screnshots:

Steps to reproduce:
Go to admin >Marketing>SEO and serach
Click URL rewrite
Add Custom URL with Param and check its redirecting or not in front-end

System allows to add new Custom URL with parameters for existing categories and its doesn't not redirecting in front end.
