Dev commands not working when vite is installed

Describe the bug

I am seeing SyntaxError: of many types when running netlify dev.

you can clear all the scripts and just for the fact the vite is a dependency, you can't run the netlify command.

If i remove vite from devDependencies, the command works fine

Steps to reproduce

1 - create a basic vite project choosing vanillasJs and Typescript
2 - run netlify dev

Configuration

i did not specify any custom configurations. I just netlify init and picked to used existing netlify app

Environment

version: netlify-cli/19.1.4 darwin-arm64 node-v22.14.0

vite version: ^6.2.0

Laptop: Apple M3

Hi @ECorreia45. Thank you for the report. Can you please share a link to a repo that reproduces this problem? We haven't heard any other reports and we don't quite have enough information to investigate this. A repro would really help. Thanks!
