.html rgba background color ignores alpha

I have met an issue about the usage of .html, I have a div with style of background color using rgba.
However, no matter what's the value of "a" I set, the pdf generated only shows the same rgb color. May I ask if any one has met this issue or if there is any works around?

You are right, rgba colors in general aren't supported ATM.

I need RGBA color support (including 8-digit HEX codes). The globalAlpha in context2d is also not working. Any progress?
