[Feature Request] Log Scale in both negative and positive

What is the feature ?

Currently the .log_scale() on the range applies only in one direction. I'd like to have it on both

(Optional) Why this feature is useful and how people would use the feature ?

I'm visualizing a stereo audio positioning algorithm and the graph looks like this:
