Fix flaky/failing E2E tests

I introduced E2E tests with Detox in #396, but they are still a bit flaky (see e.g. https://github.com/amaurymartiny/shoot-i-smoke/runs/988576992). It would be nice to make them less flaky.

Might be related to #702.
