Erroneous technology being shown for user

the following user says she has never written any react but it shows that she has ~7000 lines of it on her profile.

another user (and friend) has expressed the same issue to me. specifically that he does not do any javascript but it is showing for him. he thinks it takes all the repo as his commit for some reason.

Just wanted to add a little to this issue, i've added some private repos that make extensive use of Preact, but they are all detected as Less libraries. I also have a couple of back-end API's that use Flow, Fastify, and Firestore, but they are detected as async. I use babel & es7 async/await, but I think that detection matches the library?

So far I love the profile tool, very neat and clean. The only thing stopping me from using it in something like a job hunt is the unreliable nature of the code tech detection. Also it would be really cool if i could see what databases I use. If you added detection for libraries relating to a specific DB, or could point me in the direction of how to do this, i would love to help.

Thank you for a feedback! We will release improved tech detection classifiers very soon it will improve overall profiles quality.

Could you provide an example of Preact files that can be detected as Less?

You can contribute desired libraries to our Awesome Libraries list. We use data from this repo to train our tech detection classifiers.

Usually, ORMs can work with multiple numbers of different DBs so detection of specific DB will require usage of a library-based heuristics (analyzing of library config or component constructors). We don't plan it for upcoming releases yet.
