After upgrading from 3.2.6 to 4.1.0, I've had some categories not display when restricting access to groups. I have a group named internal with the administrator as the member. The group has the following permissions:

  • View FAQs
  • View categories
  • View sections
  • View news

I have a category called Work that has group permissions set to Restricted access to the group internal and User Permissions set to Access for all users. In this configuration, the category does not appear under 'All categories' from the top nav bar or 'FAQ Administration' on the administrative side. If I change the group permissions to 'Access for all groups', then the category displays, though the FAQs do not. Newly created categories display the same behavior as well.
