Failed to configure email server

Hi, Im getting problem to configure the mail server in the Application settings. But I don't know exactly where can I find the logs.
I already check my config, email data / credentials it is OK. I have other systems configured.

Does someone have ideia about it ?

Hi, can you double check the SMTP server address, user and password? Specially the SMTP server address.

Sure, I did it... indeed I tested a python script inside UMStack machine to validate it.. And it works!

Is there any debug log that I can verify ?

Please try the smtp server as smtp.office365.com.

but as per the screenshot you are using smtp.office65.com and one more thing, you need to provid the azure portal Global admin permission to your email which is used to register as "mail server username". Its happening due to the insufficient permissions.

Yes, Im sorry, but alredy fixed it, Im using smtp.office365.com :) and the permissions are OK...
Indeed I will reinstall UTMStack an check all again

Hi Carlos,

Please check with the global admin access, I am sure it will fix your issue. I have seen similar issues in the past for Office356 exchange portal to configure smtp on 3rd party apps.

If you face the issue even after that please share the logs with docker logs "container-id" command for office365 container

You can close the discussion, as it seems the issue is related to the Email Notification Connector, which needs to be enabled for SMTP authentication. By default, only basic authentication is enabled. Alternatively, the workaround is to use a Global Administrator account.

You need to follow below steps to fix this issue.

The user should not be part of any Conditional Access Policy.
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) must not be enabled for the user.
admin portal >>active users >> user setting >> mail >> manage email apps >> select Authenticated SMTP

Go to Exchange online portal >> Settings >> mail flow and untick turn off SMTP Auth

Hi @agauttam, yhank you by your reply.
But these options already it is enabled. I currently usage this email in other Monitoring Systems and it is working as expected.

You can see the python script that connecty directly into port 587 and sent email.

Im installing new instace of UTMstack to validate it.
